Pencil Sketch Basics 2

1. I use 3 pencils 2B 6B HB .

2B- The weakest pencil, good for starting. I start with a weak drawing of basic shapes and that way later I can draw on it and correct mistakes.

6B - Use it for dark areas, also good for shadows.

HB - the strongest but I hardly use it, it's also good for dark areas.

2. Always start with a light drawing and slowly build it up - from light to dark.

3. Draw basic shapes first and then add details.

4. Pay attention to the direction of the light.

5. Use textures where necessary.
