Sometimes it's hard to find original personal projects. Season 5 ways I find ideas for personal projects:
1.Pinterest - Saving a number of pictures of projects or products that you decide to do, of course, whatever is in your field. You can open a board on Pinterest with pictures of products like notebooks, greeting cards, etc. Sometimes I create another board of different themes or design styles and combine them.
Competitors Review - Every business there are competitors, examining what the other competitors design can give you an idea of what is needed in the field or you should put in your portfolio. Of course, don't copy anything from your competitor.
Personal Challenge - Challenges are very common on social media but are also very effective on a personal level. Whether it's an existing challenge or one you create for yourself, it still challenges you and is a great way to build a different and unique portfolio. It's also a good way to learn and practice what you've learned.
Combining different subjects - One of the best ways to find inspiration for a portfolio or business is to combine different subjects. Try one subject and another and see what you can design or draw. This is also a great way to develop creativity, especially when you are drawing and need to constantly draw something different.
Developing an idea - Open to a design idea is something that is worth trying for other areas of design, not just painting. There is different way to do that.
you can sketch the element and then sketch the ideas, you can use research and more.
